80% of women are slaves in African marriages – Actress LizzyGold reveals why she is not marrying
One of Nigeria’s favorite movie actress LizzyGold has revealed that she may never get married; stressing that 80% of African marriages are for women to be slaves in the marriage (because of the house chores)
According to LizzyGold, this decision of her was triggered after she saw a heavily pregnant woman, busily washing the clothes of her husband while the man stood there chatting with her without lending a helping hand.
she took to Instagram in revealing her encounter with the pregnant woman and in sharing the post, she captioned:
“I’ve realized 80 percent of marriages in Africa women are meant to do the house chores… Please is this what marriage is about? married couples I need your attention here..maybe if someone explains better to me I might change my mind about marriage.”
The actress received so many backlashes and supportive comments from her fans and followers over her post.
