Today’s Ghanaian hospitals are unfit for human use, owing to the ignorance of today’s doctors and nurses, who are unconcerned with the ill or the poor.
You may visit a hospital to see a nurse treating a patient in such a way that it is as though the patient forced him or her to become a nurse. This is very serious, and the government must intervene.
It was called to our attention yesterday about 9:40 p.m. that a 39-year-old woman went to the Achimota Hospital to give birth, but she was sacked because she arrived with no child birth items.
On her way out of the hospital after being dismissed, the woman gave birth but died.
For a deeper explanation, a man who was with her explained that when they went to the hospital, the doctor asked for her things and they didn’t have any, so the doctor ordered them to go out, but the woman was dying immediately, so they kept on waiting, so the doctor told the guards and they were thrown out of the hospital.
