A 38-year-old man is said to have died as a result of his preoccupation with his promiscuous teenage partner. This occurred in the Botswanan town of Palapye.
The 16-year-old girl ditched the 38-year-old guy in favor of her new 25-year-old boy. The guy couldn’t stand the idea that his ex-girlfriend was dating someone else, so he made a move on him.
At 3 a.m., the guy stormed into the girl’s house and assaulted the pair, eventually getting into a struggle with the new boyfriend and was fatally stabbed. The police have launched an inquiry into the incident.
According to Superintendent Moses Serojane, head of the Palapye Central authorities Station, the girl’s parents just found that their daughter was in a relationship with the 25-year-old man and reported it to the authorities.
The guy stormed into the girl’s house while her family was asleep, holding a metal rod and a knife. During the battle, the 25-year-old guy defended himself and stabbed the assailant to death with his own knife.
The suspect has been charged with murder and is now being held by police. It will be up to the courts to determine whether or not the stabbing was in self-defense.
