Meanwhile, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, Constable Ansah and one of the rogue officers, Lance Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame, were shot and killed during a raid at Borteyman near Ashaiman.
The two officers were supposed to appear in court with others on March 9, 2022, but they were forced to lead a group of other officers in a raid on the other suspects’ hiding.
The two criminal police officers were gunned down during a gun war between officers and criminals at the aforementioned location, and were pronounced dead on arrival at the police hospital where they were sent for treatment.
