“I go to church to do business, I don’t go to worship God” – Shatta Michy
Many people go to church for various reasons. Some go to pray, while others go to enjoy praise and worship. However, for musician Michy, it’s a business opportunity.
In an interview, she revealed that she rarely attends church to worship.
She believes that whenever she sees a congregation, she sees an opportunity to sell and expand her business.
Every now and then, I go to church.” I’m going to do some business there. I sell Jollof, so I see customers wherever there are people. If I come to your church and offer you lunch, expect me to prepare a buffet for you. “
The ‘Low Tempo’ singer admitted that she is more spiritual than religious.
“I am spiritual rather than religious.” I give my tithe to church on occasion and to people in need on other occasions. I pray frequently, and every gospel song makes me cry. I have a connection with God, and I feel like my prayers are being answered quickly for me.”
She says she gives her tithe to either beggars or the church. She also stated that whenever she hears a gospel song, she prays and becomes emotional.
