A market vendor was caught on camera washing oranges in warm soapy water so she could sell them to consumers later.
The video shows a woman who is well aware of the health risks that orange customers would face if they purchased oranges that she had cleansed with soap and a sponge.
The woman’s actions have prompted many to question how safe it is to buy food from outside sources when the method or procedure by which it is produced is unknown to the customer.
Many individuals who saw the video have called for the woman’s arrest, claiming she should be arrested before she sells the fruits to people to consume.
