John Boadu calls on Mahama’s children to join the street protest
The General Secretary of the ruling party, New Patriotic Party, John Boadu has urged the children of John Mahama to join the street protest.
John Boadu speaking in a press conference stated that Mahama’s children also have the same right to join the selfish interest of the NDC youth hence they should join them to win power for their father.
he further indicated that the children of John Mahama whom they are protesting for are comfortable living in the house why poor Ghanaians are on the streets fighting to make him president.
he said;
“We won’t allow someone because of his selfish interest and because he wants to contest the elections again, he says children should hit the streets and make noise. Then his children must also join but they are living in comfort in this country, some of them are outside the country.”
“So, if Ghana burns, you and I and our children will suffer”.
“I don’t think we must condone such statements,” he added.
John Boadu however called on the National Peace Council, National House of Chiefs, Civil Society Organisations, and the media to tell Mr. Mahama to concede defeat and stop the NDC youth from protesting.
“Even the media houses: don’t sit on the fence. Tell him point-blank that he has lost the elections and, so, he should concede,”
