Social Media Bonds Together to Raise Over $50,000 for Ailing Pencil Artist, Ray styles
Ghanian cartoon artist Ray Styles born Emanuel Apraku is currently suffering from a liver disorder – the reason he has not been active on his social media pages of late – and in order to save his life, he needed £40,000. for surgery.
The family of Ray took to social media in sharing this sad story as they launched a campaign ‘RAY OF HOPE’ in order to raise fans for the treatment of his disorder.
The sad news shocked social media and it got many into action and amazingly, most of what is needed has already been raised as the campaign has been able to raise a fund of over $50,000.
However, with this generosity on the side of social media users, the life of the talented cartoon artist surely can be saved.

Ray Styles is best known for his viral drawings of celebrities, his voice on social and political issues amongst others. Earlier this year, he came to public consciousness after his pencil drawing of the poster for the new Bad Boys movie was reshared by Will Smith himself.
