Alister John, a 22-year-old guy, has been detained on suspicion of murdering a Ghanaian woman named Afia Ahenkan.
The incident occurred on Monday, September 11th, at the deceased’s residence in Ampayoo, Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
According to accounts, the deceased Afia Ahenkan’s houseboy murdered her and pursued her with her car.
Her lifeless body was later located in her garage by the police.
Alister John was apprehended yesterday after police searched for him.
During an interview, the deceased’s family disclosed the houseboy’s bedroom.
He was sleeping in a boy’s quarters, complete with his own toilet and bath.
The apartment appears to be clean and well-kept.
According to the family, Afia Ahenkan was a good lady who treated the houseboy nicely, so they don’t understand why he murdered her.
The family (Ahenkan’s siblings) also revealed that their mother is no longer alive and has yet to be buried.
According to them, Ahenkan was the family breadwinner and was ensuring that their mother was properly buried.
They then appealed to the police and the administration to ensure that justice is done.
