Two additional suspects have been arrested over Cecilia Dapaah’s $1 million theft
The Ghana Police Service has made further progress in the investigation of stolen monies from the home of former Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Hon. Cecilia Dapaah.
Two more individuals have been arrested in connection to the theft, bringing the total number of detainees to seven.
DSP Emmanuel Nyamekye, speaking before the court, revealed that five people, including two housemaids, were initially detained for their alleged involvement in the crime.
While one suspect, Sarah Agyei, has been granted bail, she has yet to comply with the bail conditions. The remaining suspects have been remanded and the court will reconvene on August 8, 2023, to continue the proceedings.
