“Ghana will not be begging benchwarmers like Odoi and Inaki Williams if we had a world-class coach”- Countryman Songo
Countryman Songo says that the Black Stars would have more talented players if a more experienced coach were in charge He said the likes Inaki Williams, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Benjamin Tetteh would not have made the team.
According to the sports commentator, the Black Stars would have won the World Cup if they had been coached by a world-class coach.
Instead of Ghana-abroad born players, he suggested, the Black Stars should have utilized Asante Kotoko players Safiu Mudasiru, Moro Ibrahim, and Abdul Ganiyu.
He suggested that Asante Kotoko players like as Moro Ibrahim and Abdu Ganiyu should have been called up to the Black Stars squad instead of Ghanaian national who are benchwarmers abroad.
Songo, has frequently criticized the Black Stars and the Ghana Football Association.
Ghana’s coach Otto Addo, according to the sports journalist, will be unable to manage his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
