Isaac Antwi, a Ghanaian man who makes a living by selling mangoes, has spoken out about his struggles and heartbreaking life.
In an interview on Crime Check TV GH’s Charity Series, the 66-year-old man revealed that he dropped out of school after his father’s untimely death and had to work at a young age to survive.
Antwi described how he traveled to Nigeria in search of a better life, but things did not go as planned. He later returned to Accra to work, but his efforts to make a better life did not bear fruit.
After his wife became ill, he was forced to take over her business, according to the man. With no children and a sick wife to care for, this is all he can do to survive.
Antwi is about to be evicted from his shabby room and is asking for help from the public to make his life a little easier.
