The police have arrested a forty-year-old father who is accused of beating his daughter to death over the loss of his marijuana roll, according to reports.
His daughter was interrogated about his missing marijuana by the suspect, who resides in Akuajoo in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.
The 40-year-old father subjected his daughter to harsh beatings after many failed efforts to get a response from her.
During his attempt to get her to confess to him about where she had hidden his drugs, he inflicted serious injuries on her.
According to accounts, the small girl was discovered lifeless near her family’s home the next morning by several of their neighbors.
Neighbors who overheard the young lady’s cries as she was being tortured by her father accused him of murdering his daughter, according to police.
It was discovered that the man assaulted his daughter with life-threatening things, which ultimately resulted in her death.
But he was turned over to the Nkawkaw police, who have launched an investigation into what happened.
