22-year-old lady stabs her grandfather in the face after he told her to bath
According to police, a 22-year-old Louisiana woman was detained after reportedly stabbing her grandfather in the face following an argument about her cleanliness.
Carrington Harris, of Keithville, was arrested after an incident sparked by her grandfather’s desire for her to shower.
“Detectives said Harris and her grandparents began arguing after they asked her to shower,” the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday.
“She started damaging property inside the house and then turned off the power from outside,” according to the statement.
“While the couple was attempting to restrain Harris, police say she escaped and retrieved a knife from the kitchen, which she used to stab her grandfather.”
Harris then fled the house and went into hiding in the adjacent woods, only to be located hours later by law enforcement, who discovered her hidden behind a neighboring house.
According to reports, Harris was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery and one count of domestic battery with a deadly weapon.
Harris is being imprisoned at the Caddo Correctional Center for allegedly stabbing her grandfather.
No bond had been set as of Thursday.
According to police, Harris’ grandfather was taken to Willis-Knighton South, but there is no word on his present health.
