18 years old trotro mate who has been living under a bridge wins maths and chess competition
An 18-year-old bus conductor who has spent nearly his entire life living beneath the bridge is on his way to becoming a wealthy after winning the overall championship in a chess competition.
Adeoya Fewaz, a young boy, was crowned winner after defeating 50 other competitors in chess and mental math tournaments held by Chess in Slums Africa.
The competition is being organized by a non-profit organization called Chess in Slums Africa, which uses games to promote education and develop champions from impoverished areas.
They just launched a tournament for 51 homeless youngsters who reside beneath a Lagos bridge.
Tunde Onakayo, the founder, recently turned to social media to declare that the little boy emerged as the overall winner of the tournament in both chess and mental health.
