The girl claims she was subjected to humiliating conditions as a result of the experience, which forced her to begin learning remotely.
Nia Whims was arrested after a student impersonated her on Instagram and threatened her school.
A 13-year-old girl who was imprisoned for two weeks after a classmate impersonated her on social media and threatened their school has filed a lawsuit against her school and Instagram.
Nia Whims, 13, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, was framed for threatening to bomb her school in November of last year and placed in juvenile detention for 11 days.
